Is it safe to use Deepseek for work? Can share some of your experiences or what to look out for?

I tried Deepseek but it takes much longer to get responses compared to ChatGPT. Not too sure whether it's safe, so avoid uploading confidential information.

Zhipu was supposedly the next big thing in China after Deepseek. It wasn't that smart and when I installed it, it hijacked my registry or something and installed its extensions into my various browsers and browser profiles.

Daniel Extension pollution is a big problem that is receiving very little attention. Perhaps the fact that one still has to enable it before it can do anything makes it a widespread but less consequential problem.

You can easily block that extension using ChatGPT to guide you. Identify the ID and have ChatGPT create a registry file.

Genevieve M Adobe is another annoying one. I tried and it works! Took like just 10 seconds. Never knew ChatGPT could create files as well!

Layla Hasan This is a fairly simple registry hack that it can easily handle. But for complicated matters, it is best to do a system restore point and an ISO image in case things break and you need to revert.
