Anyone has tips on ChatGPT Projects?

Hi, I’ve tried the project feature for ChatGPT. Besides organizing chats better for a project, what other uses does it have? It doesn’t automatically reference other chats within the same project, so I still have to prompt it to refer to other chats, which I can do without the Project feature. Any experts here can share how you use Projects to improve your project management?

The main perk is keeping things tidy in one place - you can set project specific instructions, upload documents for it to refer (but avoid confidential materials), and streamline workflows with chats for specific tasks. The downside of Projects is when you share it with others outside the Project, they can only view it but cant continue that chat.

Actually, it can. You just have to let it know in the custom instruction to share chats across the project.

Chris_Wong Any chance you know about ChatGpt teams? Am thinking of getting it for the team but saw on openai's forum that there is no way to downgrade but have to cancel the account, meaning everything will be lost, including private chats and chats in projects - and am thus very hesitant to give it a try.
